ഇവരുടെ സംസാരം കേട്ട് നിന്ന ഞാന്‍ ഒന്ന് ആശ്ചര്യപെട്ടു. പാം നേരത്തെ ഇവിടെ വന്നിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നും ഇവിടുത്തെ ആള്‍ക്കാര്‍ക്ക് പാമിനേ നന്നായിട്ട് അറിയാം എന്നും മനസ്സിലായീ.
“So, you are regular here.” ഞാന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു.
“Oh yes! We hang out here every time we crave Indian food”
“Really? I didn’t know you guys enjoyed Indian food so much.”
“Yes we do. Anjali introduced us to it. Now we can’t back down.”
ഈ അഞ്ജലി ആളു കൊള്ളാലോ. ഞാന്‍ ഓര്‍ത്തു.
അങ്ങനെ പലതും ഞങ്ങള്‍ സംസാരിച്ചു. ഫുഡും പറഞ്ഞു. കൂടുതലും പാം നന്നായിട്ട് flirty ആയിട്ടാ സംസാരിക്കുന്നെ. ഞാനും വിട്ട്കൊടുത്തില്ലാ. തിരിച്ചും ഞാന്‍ നന്നായിട്ട് flirt ചെയ്യ്തു. ഡിന്നര്‍ കഴിക്കുമ്പോഴെല്ലാം പാമിന്‍റ്റെ കാല്‍ എന്‍റ്റെ കാലിനെ മുഴുവനും തഴുകിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു. ഇനി വൈകിക്കെണ്ടാ എന്ന മൂഡ് മനസ്സിലാക്കിയാ ഞാന്‍ പാമിനോട് ചോദിച്ചു, “so… are we waiting for desserts? Or shall we go to the one at your place?”
“Honey, let’s get out of here. I can’t wait to have you.”
പറയണ്ട താമസം. ഞാന്‍ നേരെ വെയിറ്റര്‍നെ നോക്കി “ച്ചെക്ക്” എന്ന് ആംഗ്യം കാണിച്ചു. വെയിറ്റര്‍ പെട്ടെന്ന് തന്നെ ബില്ല്, കൊണ്ടുവന്നു. പേ ചെയ്യാന്‍ ഞാന്‍ ബില്ല്, എടുത്തപ്പൊ പാം പറഞ്ഞു, “No Ravi. My idea. My bill.”
